Voting for the second phase is scheduled to take place on April 26 in Gautam Buddh Nagar. In the meantime, restaurant owners in Greater Noida and Noida are offering various deals to voters.

On 19 April, voting took place for the 18th Lok Sabha elections on 102 seats in 21 states and union territories. However, voter turnout in the first phase was so low that not even a single voter out of the four lakh registered voters in the six eastern districts of Nagaland turned up to vote.

The next voting phase is to be held on April 26 in Gautam Buddh Nagar adjacent to Delhi. Emphasizing the importance of participating in this grand democratic celebration, the Election Commission has appealed to the citizens to come out of their homes and vote on the polling day.

Meanwhile, restaurant owners in Greater Noida and Noida are also offering various incentives to voters. These have been dubbed 'democratic offers.'

The National Restaurant Authority of India in Gautam Buddh Nagar will provide a 20 percent discount on food and beverages to those who vote.

In Gautam Buddh Nagar, voting for the second phase will take place on April 26th. On that day, residents of Gautam Buddh Nagar who dine in any restaurant after casting their vote will receive a 20% discount on their bill.

Restaurant owners explain that in India elections are considered the biggest festival. Therefore, they are offering this special discount to voters before the election.

Varun Khera, President of the National Restaurant Authority of India, mentioned that this decision was made collectively by the restaurant owners.

The first phase did not see the expected voter turnout, so this offer aims to motivate voters for the second phase of voting. Additionally, this offer might attract young voters who are voting for the first time.

20% Discount on Any Food Item

Varun Khera announced that there will be 20% discount on any food item. To avail of this offer, people do not need to do anything special other than being a voter of Gautam Buddh Nagar.

They simply have to show the ink on their finger indicating that they have voted.

After this, whatever they eat or drink at the restaurant, they will get 20% off the bill. More than 50 restaurants in Greater Noida and Noida are offering this special deal.

This discount is not limited to Sunday, April 26 only; it will also be available on Monday, April 27, allowing people to enjoy this offer when dining out.
