The UP International Trade Show 2024 has officially begun. For five days, the world will witness the skills of artisans from Uttar Pradesh at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
This year, over 350,000 visitors are expected, surpassing the attendance of the first edition. So far, more than 350 buyers from 70 countries have registered to participate.
Entry will be facilitated through QR codes, and attendees can access information via a mobile app.
From Wednesday, September 25, for five days, the world will see the skills of Uttar Pradesh's entrepreneurs and artisans. This afternoon, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the UP International Trade Show at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other dignitaries in attendance.
The UP International Trade Show (UPITS) will conclude on September 29, with Union Minister Piyush Goyal delivering the closing remarks. This event aims to introduce people to UP's crafts, cuisine, and culture, showcasing products made in various regions of Uttar Pradesh under the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative.
This time, there is also a special focus on startups from different sectors. Vietnam will be the partner country participating in this trade show.
To facilitate visitors at UPITS, entry will be through QR codes, and attendees can access the trade show directory, events, and program information via a specially launched mobile app. This app will be available on both Android and iOS platforms.
There will be a modern lounge arrangement for VIP guests. During the trade show, B2B and B2C meetings will also take place. Business hours at the UP International Trade Show will be from 11 AM to 3 PM, while the trade fair will be open to the general public from 3 PM to 10 PM, allowing people to explore Uttar Pradesh's handicrafts and One District, One Product (ODOP) offerings.
Cultural programs will be presented by cultural groups from Vietnam, Bolivia, Russia, Venezuela, Egypt, and Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Council for Cultural Relations.
Additionally, singers Ankit Tiwari, Kanika Kapoor, and Palash Sen's Euphoria band will also perform.
