Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch six electric vehicles by 2031. The carmaker will introduce its first electric vehicle, the eVX, to the market.

Maruti's first electric car, the eVX, is expected to be showcased at the India Mobility Show scheduled for January 2025.

Maruti's eVX Electric Car

Maruti's first electric car, the eVX, was initially presented in concept form. The production model of the eVX is expected to be showcased at the India Mobility Show, providing details on the car’s final specifications.

The electric vehicle might also be launched in Europe and Japan, alongside its introduction in India.

When Will Maruti's EV Be Launched?

Maruti Suzuki's eVX is expected to be launched in 2025. Shortly after its presentation at the India Mobility Show, the company might release the car for sale.

The eVX could pose strong competition to the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta EV.

Range of Maruti's EV

The Maruti eVX may be launched with two battery pack options, offering a range of up to 550 kilometres on a single charge. The electric car could feature a 60 kWh battery pack. It is expected to be manufactured at the Suzuki Motor Plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat.

Maruti's Largest SUV

The Maruti Suzuki eVX could become the company's largest SUV, offering substantial space. It may feature a flat floor and is expected to have a size of around 4.3 metres.

With the launch of this vehicle, Maruti is set to enter the electric vehicle market. By 2031, the company aims to introduce several more electric vehicles.
