At the same speed on which the coronavirus infection is spreading, now it is also causing the deaths of many people at the same speed too. During the last 24 hours, new records of coronavirus have been recorded across the country and the numbers of people who are losing their lives due to the virus is also increased rapidly. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 45,750 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Wednesday to 8 am Thursday, which is the highest numbers of cases recorded in a single day.
If we look at the statistics of the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 1129 people have died due to coronavirus across the country. With so many deaths in one day, the illusion is broken that fewer people are dying due to this virus in India. So far, 29,861 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus and the numbers of deaths are increasing continuously.
However, the number of people recovering after beating the coronavirus has also started increasing rapidly. According to the Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours, 29,557 people have been completely cured of the coronavirus across the country. Till date, out of total 12,38,635 cases of this virus, 7,82,606 people are such that have been completely cured. The number of active cases of corona in the country is 4,26,167.
There is continuous testing for identification of corona patients going in the country. India is the highest testing country after the US and Russia worldwide. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 3.50 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the country on Wednesday and so far more than 1.50 crore tests have been conducted in the country.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total numbers of cases worldwide has crossed 1.53 crore mark. So far more than 6.30 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 93.49 lakh people all over the world have been cured of the coronavirus. The highest numbers of cases of coronavirus in the world are in the United States. Here more than 41 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.46 lakh people have died. Followed by more than 22.31 lakh cases in Brazil and more than 82 thousand deaths. In Russia too, more than 7.89 lakh cases have been reported and more than 12 thousand people have lost their lives.
