A lawyer has given a complaint to the police against INLD chief Omprakash Chautala. Chautala is accused of using the banned word Scheduled Caste in a rally organized at Nai Anaj Mandi in Jind district on the birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal. Omprakash Chautala had used a restricted word for the poor, laborer, and the Scheduled Castes along with the Kamara class.
Although INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala has been using such words in his address earlier. Also, this time Punjab Haryana High Court advocate Pradeep Singhmar has filed a complaint objecting to it. The complaint has been given to the Narwana Sadar police station. At the same time, the station in charge has said about taking action as per rules after investigation.
Pradeep Singhmar, a resident of village Belarkhan, told in a complaint to the Sadar police station that he was listening to INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala's address on social media. In the address, the INLD chief used such a word, in which the Indian government has completely banned its use by issuing a notification on 22 November 2012. Due to this the sentiments of him and his society have been hurt. He opposes the words used by the INLD chief. Despite being a banned word, a case should be registered against INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala under the SC, ST Act for using it.
The police have taken the complaint of the advocate, but have not registered the case yet. Narwana Sadar police station in-charge Satyapal told that he has gone out of the police station in case of any case. He is not aware of the complaint received by the advocate against the INLD chief. If any complaint is received, it will be investigated and action will be taken as per rules.
