Farmers in Haryana with up to three acres of land would be covered under the Ayushman Yojana. The government will create its playing cards. The government, according to Chief Minister Manohar Lal, is covering families with an annual income of Rs 1.80 lakh under the Ayushman Yojana. With this in mind, it was decided to include farmers in the process as well.

Budget provision for the growth of the agriculture sector

In the budget, the government will give precedence to the farmer suggestions. The Chief Minister requested proposals for budget provision for the growth of the agriculture sector on Monday, virtually speaking with farmers. He stated that whatever proposals from farmers are required, they will be evaluated and prioritized in the budget. Before the budget, farmers, stakeholders in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and fisheries were consulted. Through a virtual meeting, Agriculture and Welfare Minister Jaiprakash Dalal, officers from all districts, farmers, HAU, Luwas, and the Vice-Chancellor of Horticulture University attended.

Producers will have to work together to move forward

The Chief Minister stated that a better budget would be prepared this time with the welfare of all classes in mind. The budget will place a greater emphasis on subjects such as agriculture sector development and farmer income growth. In the agricultural sector, new experiments are being conducted. Producers will have to work together to move forward, with progressive farmers cooperating and training other farmers to advance. Along with this, a focus will be placed on establishing funds such as the Farmers Welfare Fund and the Sahyog Fund.

Farmers will be more inclined to grow sugarcane rather than paddy

The government is attempting to increase the number of FPOs to enhance farmer revenue. Small industries, such as those that make jaggery and Khand from crushers, can also be established in rural regions. Farmers will be more inclined to grow sugarcane rather than paddy as a result of this. Efforts to establish processing units for various crops would be encouraged as well.

Instead of traditional farming, technological farming will be promoted

Farmers would be moved away from conventional agriculture like rice and wheat, he claimed, and toward modern farming. Farmers will be trained in crops such as pulses, horticulture, and fisheries as part of a crop diversification strategy. Dairy farming is also a viable option for farmers looking to supplement their income. The state will develop such animal varieties, which will improve milk production and aid farmers.

In the agricultural sector, there are numerous job opportunities in all categories. Training the youth will create employment prospects in this industry. The training system will be improved much more. Agriculture Minister Jaiprakash Dalal expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, saying that inviting recommendations from farmers as part of the pre-budget dialogue is a worthwhile endeavor.
