Naftali Bennett was sworn in as the new prime minister of Israel on June 14 after an eight-party coalition was formed to oust Benjamin Netanyahu following his 12-year rule in the country. Talking about the figures, 60 MPs voted in favor of the government late on Sunday night while 59 MPs voted against it. Netanyahu greeted Bennett with a handshake after he was sworn in as prime minister.

According to The Times of Israel, there was a lot of uproar in the Israeli parliament on Sunday. When Bennett stood up to deliver the speech, the opposition used words like liar and criminal. The instability in Israeli politics has been visible for many years. Four elections were held in two years, but no party got a majority. Bennett may have become prime minister and formed a coalition, but people are not very optimistic about his government.

Bennett thanked former PM Netanyahu during his speech:

At the start of the nearly four-hour special session, Bennett thanked Netanyahu for the work he had done as prime minister. Due to his participation in the Arab Party government, he will also have to take care of the interests of 21 percent of the Arab population of the country. Therefore, the focus of the new government will be on improving domestic issues and governance.

Bennett made it clear that he is not going to make any major changes in the administrative system. This means that the regime will run from the right-wing perspective of Netanyahu. Bennett said he would strongly oppose America's return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran but would support President Joe Biden on other matters.
