Horrific Accident in Maharashtra's Wardha, Seven Medical Students including an MLA's Son Died

In Wardha, Maharashtra, seven medical students, including the MLA's son, died in a horrific accident. The mishap occurred late Monday night. According to the information, a wild animal ran in front of the students' car as they drove through Selsura Shivar. While attempting to save the animal, the car lost control and crashed into the ditch, destroying the bridge.

The accident occurred around 11.30 p.m.

BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale's son also died in this accident 

The accident occurred near Wardha on National Highway Tuljapur at Selsura Shivar. The seven people in the car were all students at Sawangi Meghe Medical College. They were on their way back from Yavatmal to Sawangi Meghe. According to SP Prashant Holkar, the accident occurred around 11.30 p.m. Avishkar Rahangdale, the son of BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale from Tirora assembly constituency, was among those who died in this road accident.

Prime Minister Modi's Tweet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences for the accident. He has announced that each family of those who died in the accident will receive Rs 2 lakh in compensation. At the same time, the injured will receive financial assistance in the amount of 50 thousand rupees.
