America Handed Over the First Batch of 100 Ventilators to India

The Indian Red Cross said it thanked the US government for the gift of state-of-the-art ventilators to aid in the fight against the Covid-19

US Ambassador Kenneth Juster on Tuesday handed over the first batch of 100 ventilators to help India in the fight against the Coronavirus. The Indian Red Cross Society gave this information. In May, President Donald Trump announced that the United States would give ventilators to India to help in the fight against this 'invisible enemy'.

The General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, RK Jain, accepted the first consignment of ventilators at the IRCS National Headquarters from the US Ambassador. The Indian Red Cross said it thanked the US government for the gift of state-of-the-art ventilators to aid in the fight against the Covid-19.

This will greatly benefit patients with critical condition. USAID (American Agency for International Development) has provided these ventilators and the agency said that the first batch of ventilators arrived here on Monday.
