Maulana Kalbe Sadiq was born on 22 June 1939. His father Maulana Kalbe Hussain and brother Maulana Kalbe Abid were very famous religious leaders and Islamic scholars. After his primary education in Madrasa Sultan-ul-Madaris, he went to Aligarh for training. From where he did his Ph.D. after doing an MA in Arabic. He was also proficient in Urdu, Persian, English, and Hindi. He held all important positions including the Vice President of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

You give me land, I will give you school

On the lines of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's slogan 'You give me blood, I will give you freedom', Maulana used to say that you give me land, I will give you school. On his call, many people provided him land and Maulana dispelled the darkness of ignorance by building a school there as promised. He was a founding member of several educational institutions and several charitable trusts. In 1984, he created the Tauhidul Muslimeen Trust. In which help in the education of poor children and scholarships are given to meritorious students.

Simplicity is so much that even the opponent admires

In 2015, MB Club had a program to help children suffering from cancer. He was the chief guest. On seeing Maulana wearing a white kurta-pajama, the guard showed him the board there. On which it was written that entry without wearing pants-shirt is prohibited. Understanding the guard's gesture, he returned. When asked over the phone, he said, "Don't give importance to the matter." The guard did his job. It's not his fault. Later, an apology was made on behalf of the organizer and the club, but Maulana took it very lightly. He kept trying to educate his daughters. All the girls' schools were opened in the entire state under his cooperation and guidance.

He has always been included in the talk of rights. Long before the verdict in the Ayodhya dispute, he had said that Muslims should take the initiative to build a temple by giving up land rights. Also, this will reduce the gap between Hindus and Muslims and increase love.

He used to predict the moon of Eid in advance

When will the moon of Eid be told? On the basis of calculations, he used to tell this long ago. Many people used to oppose his calculation earlier, but when the calculation proved to be correct, then the opponents would have stopped speaking. So for the past many years, people have been celebrating Eid on their given date only.
