Gautam Adani's Adani Network gets a unified license for access services, which enables it to provide all the telecom services in the country, according to official sources. Adani took entry into the telecom sector after buying spectrum which was recently held.

"UL (AS) has been awarded to Adani Data Networks," an official source stated. According to another source, the permission was obtained on Monday.

An e-mail sent to Adani Group received no response.

In the last 5G spectrum auction, Adani Data Networks Ltd (ADNL), a company of Adani Enterprises Ltd, paid 212 crores for the right to utilize 400MHz of spectrum in the 26GHz millimeter wave band for 20 years.

Adani Group intends to utilize the airwaves for data centers

The Adani Group previously stated that it intends to utilize the airwaves for data centers as well as the mega app it is developing to help industries ranging from energy distribution to airports and gas retailing to ports.

"The recently acquired 5G spectrum is expected to contribute to the creation of a single digital platform, which will expedite the pace and scale of the Adani group's digitalization of its core infrastructure, primarily industrial, and B2C business portfolio," the firm said in a statement.
