Google launched Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones at its annual event on Wednesday. Their starting price is Rs 75,999 and Rs 1,06,999. At the same time, Google has also launched Pixel Watch 2 at a starting price of ₹ 39,900. This is the company's first smartwatch in India.

Google will provide support on its phones for 7 years i.e. till 2030. It will get OS updates, security updates, feature drops and AI innovations. Google claims that it is the first company to provide updates for such a long time. Google devices are available on Flipkart in India.

Pixel phones will have 50MP camera

Rear camera in Pixel 8: 50MP + 12MP. Front camera: 10.5MP. Whereas Pixel 8 Pro has rear camera: 50MP + 48MP + 48MP and front camera: 10.5MP. Both phones will have Tensor G3 processor. There is also a change in the design of the phone.

Smartwatch will run 24 hours on a single charge

Google's Pixel Watch 2 will get personalized health, fitness, safety and productivity features. It has sleep tracking, high and low heart rate notification, daily readiness score, fall detection and emergency SOS features.

In this, services of Google Assistant, Gmail, Calendar and other Google apps will also be available. Its battery life has been improved. It will run 24 hours on a single charge with always on display. 6 months of Fitbit Premium membership will be available free with Watch 2.

Made by Google event takes place every year in October

Every year in October, Google launches Pixel phones in its 'Made by Google' event. The first Pixel phone was launched in the year 2016. This year's Made by Google event started in New York on October 4 at 07.30 pm Indian time. This event was live streamed on Google's YouTube channel 'Made by Google'.
