Musk Is Bringing Two New Subscription Plans For X, OneWill Be Cheaper Than The Existing X Premium, One Will Be More Expensive

Elon Musk has announced two new subscription plans for his social media platform X. The price of one of these plans will be less than the existing X premium, but users will see ads in it.

Elon Musk has announced two new subscription plans for his social media platform X. The price of one of these plans will be less than the existing X premium, but users will see ads in it. The second plan will be costlier than the existing X premium, in which not a single ad will be visible.

Musk made this announcement two days after introducing annual subscription plans for all new users in New Zealand and Philippines. The new subscription plan has been named 'Not a Bot', which is currently in the testing phase. The 'Not a Bot' subscription plan costs $1 annually. However, the company has said that the price of the plan may vary according to different countries and currencies.

The name of the new plan may be Basic and Plus.

According to media reports, the new subscription plan of X may be named Basic and Plus. Currently the company offers only one subscription plan named 'X Premium'. Its price is different for individual users and for business, organization, government agency. In this plan, individuals get blue checkmark, business gets gold and government gets gray checkmark.

Musk can charge monthly fees from everyone

Recently Elon Musk had said that X can charge monthly fees from all its users. Musk said this in a live program with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Musk had said that this would get rid of bots.

The company currently has about 55 crore users, who post 1 to 2 crore posts daily. However, Musk did not give information about how many authentic users and how many bots there are in X.

Elon Musk had bought Twitter last year on October 27, 2022 for $ 44 billion i.e. about Rs 3.64 lakh crore. After this, Musk remained in the news regarding many big decisions...

1. More than half the employees laid off

After buying Twitter, Musk first fired four top officials of the company. These included CEO Parag Aggarwal, Finance Chief Ned Segal, legal executives Vijaya Gadde and Sean Edgett. When Musk took command of X, there were about 7500 employees, but now only about 2500 are left.

2. Unblocked multiple blocked accounts

In November 2022, Musk unblocked many blocked accounts including that of former US President Donald Trump. He had conducted a poll on X regarding Trump's return. He had asked, should President Trump's account be restored. Yes or no. More than 1.5 crore users took part in voting and 52% people answered yes.

3. Launched Blue Subscription Service

Elon Musk has launched Blue Subscription worldwide. Blue subscription cost for web users in India is Rs 650. The subscription charge for mobile is Rs 900 per month. Many features are available in it including blue tick, long video post.
