New rates of fuel have been released on Wednesday. Petrol and diesel prices were once again increased by 80 paise per litre today. With this increase, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi has increased from Rs 104.61 per litre to Rs 105.41 per litre and the price of diesel has increased from Rs 95.87 per litre to Rs 96.67 per litre.
Petrol and diesel prices are increasing continuously across the country. After remaining stable for 137 days, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increasing continuously since March 22. Petrol and Diesel prices have increased 14 times in the last 16 days. Petrol and diesel have become costlier by Rs 10 in these 16 days.
Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala accused the government of looting the public on the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel and said that the prices of petrol and diesel have increased again today. The government is doing electoral fraud with false promises and is using all its force to rob the people.
On Wednesday, Delhi's Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) increased the price of CNG by Rs 2.5 per kg. With this increase, the price of CNG in Delhi today is Rs 66.61 per kg. At the same time, the price of CNG in Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida is Rs 69.18 per kg and in Gurugram it is Rs 74.94 per kg.
Randeep also called the BJP government a 'loot wali sarkar' when the prices of CNG increased. Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of increasing inflation, he said – Yesterday Modi Ji was saying that the loot of fuel is very minor. In such a situation, no one knows when Modi Ji will increase their price.
