Petrol Price Today: Petrol Prices Cut by 13-16 Paisa, Diesel by 16-20 Paisa

Talking about the prices of Monday, 10 February 2020, according to the reports, the prices of petrol have been cut by 13-16 paise per liter and diesel prices by 16-20 paise per liter.

The global prices of crude oil have been declining due to the havoc of coronavirus. Its clear effect is being seen on fuel prices in India. Monday is the fifth consecutive day that oil marketing companies have cut prices of petrol and diesel. So far this year, the prices of petrol and diesel have been cut by up to Rs 3 per liter. Talking about the prices of Monday, 10 February 2020, according to the reports, the prices of petrol have been cut by 13-16 paise per liter and diesel prices by 16-20 paise per liter.

According to reports, petrol has decreased by 13 paise in Delhi and Mumbai, 18 paise in Kolkata and 14 paise per liter in Chennai. At the same time, diesel has decreased by 20 paise per liter in Delhi and Kolkata, while 21 paise per liter in Mumbai and Chennai.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has come down to Rs 72.10, Rs 74.74, Rs 77.76 and Rs 74.90 per liter respectively. At the same time, the price of diesel in the four metros has also come down to Rs 65.07, Rs 67.39, Rs 68.19 and Rs 68.72 per liter respectively. Petrol in Hyderabad is being sold at Rs 76.62 per liter and diesel at Rs 70.88 per liter. In Gurugram, you have to pay Rs 72.16 for a liter of petrol while Rs 64.44 for diesel.

The retail prices of petrol and diesel depends on the international prices of crude oil and rupee-dollar exchange rates, as India imports around 80 percent of its crude oil requirements. Oil marketing companies review the domestic prices of petrol and diesel on a daily basis. The revised prices are applicable from 6 am onwards at petrol pumps.
