After reaching a record high on Tuesday, the market opened with a new record today i.e. on Wednesday also. Sensex climbed 248 points with new high and opened at 54,071. Currently trading at 54,340 with a gain of 518 points. On the other hand, Nifty opened with a gain of 65 points at 16,195. And is now trading 135 points higher at 16,266. Out of the 30 stocks included in the Sensex, 21 stocks have gained, in which HDFC 4% and Tata Steel are trading with gains of more than 2%. The market is getting support from Nifty Bank. ICICI Bank's share is up 2.81% and Kotak Bank's share is up 2.43% in Nifty Bank sector on NSE.
2,485 shares are being traded on BSE. There is an increase in 2,182 shares and a fall in 619 shares. The total market cap of the listed companies has also crossed Rs 241.34 lakh crore. Earlier on Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 53,823.36, up 872.73 points. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 16,130 with a gain of 245 points.

With a strong rally in the stock market on the previous day, the market capitalization of listed companies on BSE jumped to a record Rs 2,40,04,664.28 crore on Tuesday. During this, the BSE Sensex had gained 872.73 points. On Tuesday, the stock market rose for the second day in a row and the BSE Sensex was up by 872.73 points, or 1.65 per cent, to 53,823.36 points.
During trading, it had gained up to 937.35 points. Investors' wealth has increased by Rs 4,54,915.38 crore since last Friday. On Monday, the Sensex had gained 363.79 points or 0.69 percent on the previous day.
