In this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, Chief Secretary Vijay Dev, NITI Aayog member VK Paul, Revenue Minister Kailash Gahlot, Joint Secretary of National Disaster Management Authority, Secretary of Health and Home Departments of Delhi Government and experts will be involved.
Schools-colleges closed in Delhi
On the other hand, because of the increasing threat of Omicron in Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued a yellow alert on Tuesday. Under this, schools-colleges, cinema halls and gyms will remain closed, while shops of non-essential items will be opened on the odd-even formula. Along with this, metro trains will be operated with 50 percent capacity.
According to the first level alert under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), night curfew will be in force from 10 pm to 5 am and only half of the employees will work in private offices except for essential categories. Along with this, restaurants were allowed to open from 8 am to 10 pm with 50 per cent capacity, while beer bars can also remain open from 12 noon to 10 pm with the same arrangement.
