Corona is increasing at an uncontrollable speed in the country. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 1 lakh 94 thousand 7 hundred 20 new cases of coronavirus have come.

According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 1 lakh 94 thousand 7 hundred 20 new cases of coronavirus have been reported. 442 people have died from Corona. While, 60 thousand 406 patients have recovered from Corona and returned to their homes. Mumbai and, National Capital Delhi are on the top of the list of rising cases.

Kerala Government gears up, over 90% Vaccination

The cases of corona are increasing continuously in the country. However, the sigh of relief regarding vaccination is that more than 90 percent of the people in Kerala have at least received the first dose of the vaccine. At the same time, the first dose of vaccine has been given to all eligible children in the age group of 15 to 18 years in Lakshadweep as well. UT Lakshadweep District Collector and Secretary S. Asker Ali said that Lakshadweep has become the first state in the country to achieve this feat in union territories and states.

In the coming times, if people need to be hospitalized due to corona, then the Delhi government is prepairing well in advance. Delhi Government is arranging extra beds in hospitals. About five thousand beds are available in the institutional isolation centres set up for COVID-19 patients. The Delhi government is increasing the facility of home isolation.

Delhi reports 21,259 new cases in a day

In Delhi, 21,259 new cases were reported yesterday, while 23 people died of corona. The number of active cases in Delhi are 74,881 and the infection rate has increased to 25.65 percent.

More than 34,000 cases found in Maharashtra

More than 34,424 new cases were registered in Maharashtra while 22 people died due to corona. The number of active cases in the state rose to 2,21,477. At present, there are 1,281 cases of Omicron in Maharashtra. 1,00,523 corona patients are being treated in Mumbai.

Infection rate increases in Kerala and Karnataka

On Tuesday, 9,066 new Covid-19 cases were registered in Kerala and 19 people died due to corona in the last 24 hours. The only ray of hope was that 2064 people were also cured. The number of active cases in the state currently, is 44,441. Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that in Kerala the vaccination coverage of the first dose is 99 percent and that of the second dose is 82 percent. At the same time, the immunization of children aged 15 to 18 years is 39%. While 60,421 people have been given 'precautionary dose'.

In spite of that, 14,473 new cases were have been reported in Karnataka in the last 24 hours and 5 patients have died due to corona. The number of active cases has gone up to 73,260 and the positivity rate in Karnataka has increased to 10.30 percent.
