Here, the central government has become serious because of the increasing cases of Omicron in the country. The central government has written a letter to the state government to take strict action. In its letter, the Center has said that to prevent the increasing infection due to new variants, the state can impose a night curfew if it wants.

Amidst the increasing cases of Coronavirus Omicron, the Central Government has written a letter to the states. In his letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has given instructions to increase testing and surveillance in the states. Along with this, there has been talk of imposing a night curfew, banning large gatherings, limiting the number of people at weddings and funerals. Apart from this, the Center has asked the states to set up war rooms, determine containment zones, review the cases to protect against Omicron.

The highest number of Omicron cases in India have been seen in Mumbai. The situation in Delhi is also bad. Apart from this, cases of Omicron have also been reported in other states including Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal.

So far 12 people have lost their lives due to the newly infected in Britain. In America too, the process of death from Omicron has started. There too a person has lost his life due to the new variant.
