12 CRPF Soldiers found Corona Infected, 122 are Still Infected with the Virus

Corona virus disease is spreading rapidly despite lockdown and all measures. The government extended the lockdown ending on May 3 to May 17, but the speed of Corona did not appear to slow down. Now this deadly virus has started infecting the corona commandos as well.

After the police, many soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have also been found infected with the corona. On Friday, corona virus infection was confirmed in 12 CRPF personnel. With this, the number of CRPF personnel infected with Corona virus has reached 122. While the investigation report of 150 soldiers is yet to come.

All the CRPF have one battalion, 31 battalions. This battalion is posted in Mayur Vihar Phase 3 of National Capital Delhi. Significantly, CRPF's 31 battalion Assistant Sub Inspector Mohammad Ikram Hussain died on April 28 due to corona. Ikram died in Safdarjung Hospital during treatment.
