2 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Meghalaya, Total Number of Infected Reached to 33 Figure

There have been 2 new cases of corona virus infected reported in Meghalaya. State Chief Minister Konrad K Sangma said that corona virus infection has been confirmed in 2 people recently returned from other states of the country, taking the total number of infected people in the state to 33. Sangma said 2 people who returned from Goa and Maharashtra were found infected on Wednesday night and a person returned from Uttar Pradesh was also found infected with this virus.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Konrad Sangma tweeted, "2 more people returned from Goa and Maharashtra have been found infected with Corona virus and both are kept in isolation in Shillong in East Khasi Hills district and are healthy." He said that out of 33 cases, 19 people are undergoing treatment and 13 have recovered while one patient has died, let us tell you that most of the cases in Meghalaya are from outside people.

The good thing is that the outbreak of this deadly virus in the northeastern states is less than the rest of the country.
