Coronavirus Cases Exceed 1,50,000 Figure in Pakistan, Death Toll Reached 2,975

According to the Ministry of Health, 58,437 patients have recovered so far in the country

Coronavirus cases in Pakistan have crossed 1,50,000 mark, while the death toll has risen to 2,975 with 136 deaths. The Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that so far 950,782 people have been screened for Covid-19, of which 28,117 have been screened in the last 24 hours. The ministry said that 5,839 people have been found infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of infected has increased to 154,760.They said that a record 136 people died due to Covid-19 in the country during the last 24 hours. The number of people dying from this infectious disease has increased to 2,975. Punjab reported the highest number of 58,239 cases of coronavirus, subsequently, 57,868 people have been found infected in Sindh, 19,107 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 9,242 in Islamabad, 8,437 in Balochistan, 1,164 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 703 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

According to the Ministry of Health, 58,437 patients have recovered so far. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Karachi to take stock of the steps taken by the Sindh province to stop the virus from spreading.
