Coronavirus in India: Total Cases in the Country Crossed 3 Lakhs Mark with 1 Lakh Figure Crossed in Maharashtra

Coronavirus in India is not slowing down and the number of new coronavirus cases is increasing every day. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 308993 after 11458 coronavirus cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours. India has now become the fourth most infected country in the world. After America, Brazil, and Russia, India has the most coronavirus cases now.

390 PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN LAST 24 HOURS

With the increase in cases of coronavirus, now the number of people who lost their lives due to this virus is also increasing rapidly. According to the Ministry of Health, 390 people have died due to coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours and the total number of people who lost their lives due to this virus has now increased to 8884.

1,01,141 CORONA CASES IN MAHARASHTRA

The infection is at its peak in some states in india due to which the total number of coronavirus infected cases has crossed 3 lakh mark across the country, whereas, almost one-third of the total cases of the country alone exists in Maharashtra only. According to the Union Health Ministry, 101141 coronavirus cases have been reported so far in Maharashtra and apart from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu has reported 40698 cases and Delhi has 36824 cases.

1,54,330 CURED SO FAR IN THE COUNTRY

During the last 24 hours, 7135 people have been cured in India and now the number of people who have won the battle against the coronavirus across the country has risen to 154330. The recovery rate of coronavirus in the country is now at 50 percent.
