Coronavirus: India Reports 43,654 Cases with 640 Deaths

According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 43,654 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

India has been witnessing a gradual decrease in daily coronavirus cases. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 43,654 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 3,14,84,605. With 640 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 4,22,022.

The country also witnessed 41,678 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 3,07,63,147. With this, the country's recovery rate has increased to 97.35 %. On the other hand, India's mortality rate stands at 1.34 %. Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stands at 3,99,436. The active cases rate in India stands at 1.31 %.

Over 46 crore samples tested so far:

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 17,36,857 samples were tested across the country on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a total of 46,09,00,978 samples have been tested so far till July 27.

Over 44 crores vaccine doses administered so far:

Meanwhile, mass vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, so far 44,61,56,669 have been vaccinated in the country. Out of this, 40,02,358 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

Less than 100 cases reported in Delhi:

On Wednesday, 77 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile, 42 people recovered and 2 died. So far, 14.36 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 14.10 lakh have cured, while 25,046 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 570 patients who are undergoing treatment.

Rajasthan: less than 100 cases reported:

On Wednesday, 15 cases of coronavirus reported in the state. Of these, 34 people recovered. So far, 9.53 lakh people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,953 patients have died. At present, 278 patients are undergoing treatment.
