Coronavirus epidemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. According to the www.worldometer.com , so far 1 crore 56 lakh 75 thousand 400 people have found infected. Of these, 95,35,209 have been cured, while 6,36,464 have died. On the other hand, Bolivia's Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) has postponed the Presidential elections for the second time. Elections were to be held here on 6 September but now it has been postponed till October 18. Tribunal President Salvador Roemer said on Thursday, TSE has taken this decision in view of protecting the health of the country.

South Africa: Schools closed for four weeks due to Coronavirus epidemic

In South Africa, the number of infected cases has crossed 4 lakh. President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Thursday that the Cabinet has decided to close all schools in the country for the next four weeks in view of the increasing cases. He said that the existing academic session in schools and colleges will be increased by 2021 so that children can complete their education. We have taken this step after discussing it with health and education experts.

France: Package announced for unemployed youth

France has announced a package of 6.5 billion euros (about 5650 thousand crores) for unemployed youth effected due to the epidemic. Prime Minister Jean Castex said on Thursday that this is a two-year plan. Under this, the government will give subsidies to companies to give jobs to youth below 25 years.

Iraq: International flights approved

Iraq on Thursday approved the resuming of international flights despite growing cases of Coronavirus infection. The Civil Aviation Department here said, "The demand for people going abroad to Baghdad, Basra and Najaf Airport has increased. In view of this, international flights are allowed to start. "With 2361 new cases of infection reported in the country in the last 24 hours, the number of infected has increased to 12,226. There were 4122 deaths. So far, 69,405 people have become completely healthy.
