Every third patient in the AIIMS emergency room is infected with corona. In such a case, other specialists suggest that, in addition to the doctors at AIIMS, a huge portion of Delhi's population has been infected with Omicron.

One out of every three patients becomes infected with corona

People are seeking treatment for a variety of disorders in the AIIMS emergency room. Corona examinations of these patients are also performed in this case. One out of every three patients becomes infected with corona during the inquiry. According to Dr. Ananya Gupta of AIIMS' Department of Gastroenterology, the number of newly infected patients has decreased recently. Previously, every second patient had been discovered to have a corona infection. This is the case with the present infection rate, yet these percentages could alter in the future, resulting in the fourth patient becoming infected instead of the third.

The trauma center is fully staffed

The trauma center at AIIMS is full, owing to an increase in the number of patients who arrive in the emergency room and the number of serious patients who are determined to be infected. On each of the four floors, there is an ICU. There are 12 beds in each ICU. Patients are admitted to 48 ICU beds in this condition, and patients are retained on other floors with oxygen assistance. After filling up the trauma center, the burn and plastic section has begun to recruit corona patients, according to an AIIMS doctor.

Omicron has infected a huge portion of Delhi's population

Patients arriving for treatment at various facilities, including AIIMS, are given a coronary artery test. Many patients who are now undergoing treatment or who have recently undergone an operation or surgery in the hospital are included in this category. Corona is inspected first in such a case, even after the arrival of these patients. Experts claim that Omicron, a new form of the corona, has infected a huge portion of Delhi's population. This is why the infection rate has not yet fallen below 10%.

Symptoms are a runny nose, headache, joint discomfort, severe myalgia, and back pain

In most people with Omicron, the most common symptoms are a runny nose, headache, joint discomfort, severe myalgia, and back pain. Fever, on the other hand, was the most prevalent and serious symptom of delta virus infection. With the delta type, joint discomfort and myalgia were less common. The study also discovered that 70% of virus particles reproduce in the neck and that just a small percentage of viral particles make it to the lungs.

On the 24th and 25th, the nurse will work by tying a black band

On January 24 and 25, nurses in all Delhi government hospitals will wear black bands in protest. The nurses are protesting the non-payment of compensation to the families of eight nurses who died while serving during the Corona period. According to the Delhi Nurses Federation, eight nurses died while working in the Delhi government's Corona-only hospitals. The government promised a settlement of Rs 1 crore to the nurses' families, but the money has yet to arrive. In such a case, all of the Federation's nurses will wear black bands to show their displeasure.
