England’s Legendary Footballer Norman Hunter Dies due to Coronavirus

Former England footballer Norman Hunter died due to coronavirus. He was 76 years old.  Hunter was a member of the 1966 World Cup-winning team. According to media reports, Hunter's corona test came positive on April 10. This is the 8th veteran's death in three weeks in the sports world. Pakistan's squash legend Azam Khan died of corona on March 28 in England. Azam was 95 years old, winning the British Open title four times consecutively between 1959 and 1962.

Norman Hunter was associated with Leeds Football Club for the first time in his career. Hunter has played 726 matches for the club in 14 years. He also made Leeds a two-time Premier League champion. At the same time, English club Liverpool's legend Kenny Dalglish has been discharged from the hospital after defeating Corona.

Earlier, former Pakistani cricketer Zafar Sarfaraz (50), runner Donato Sabia (56), Switzerland's ice hockey legend Roger Shapo (79), Doctor Bernard Gonzalez (60) of France's football club Reims, Lancashire Cricket Club, England President David Hodgkiss (71) and Pep Dioff (68), former president of the Olympic de Marshal Football Club of France, have said goodbye to the world due to coronavirus epidemic.
