High Risk Patients in America will get Third Dose of Corona Vaccine

Health officials believe that the third dose of the vaccine will give initial relief to people with weak immune systems

After countries like France and Israel, now the US has also approved the booster dose. Booster doses will be given to high-risk patients in the US amid increasing cases of the delta variant. US drug regulators have approved a third dose of Pfizer and Moderna for emergency use.

The American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said in its statement that there are millions of people in the country who are at high risk. Meaning, patients who have had an organ transplant or are suffering from a disease like cancer, will get the third dose of the vaccine.

28 days after the second dose, the third dose can be taken

FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock said in a statement that another wave of the corona has entered the country. The FDA is concerned that people with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of this dangerous disease. Such patients will be able to take a booster dose 28 days after the second dose.

No information was given for single-dose people

Woodcock has not given any information about people taking a single dose. Let us tell you that a single dose of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is also being used in America. It is possible that some instructions should be issued soon for people who have taken a single dose.
