Home Ministry Meeting on Corona Under the Chairmanship of Amit Shah

The total number of patients in Delhi is around 90 thousand, in which 2803 people have died

The Ministry of Home Affairs convened a meeting in Delhi on Thursday to discuss the condition of coronavirus in Delhi and its adjoining states. In this meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were connected through video conferencing. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Health Secretary and other officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs are also present in the meeting.

In this meeting, the growing corona infected cases in Delhi and NCR and measures to deal with it will be discussed. Also, there should be better coordination between Delhi and its surrounding states on Corona, it will also be discussed. According to the information received from the sources of the Home Ministry, the states of Delhi and NCR will be discussed in the meeting to work under one unit and measures to deal with the corona infection. With this, corona testing should be increased more in NCR, whereas this meeting will also be held with the Chief Ministers of the states.

90 thousand patients in Delhi

For the past two days, the pace of corona infection in the country's capital Delhi has slowed down a bit. The total number of patients in Delhi is around 90 thousand, in which 2803 people have died. So far, about 60 thousand people have been cured, while the number of active cases is more than 27 thousand. At the same time, 58 new cases were reported in Noida on Wednesday and the total number of patients in the district has increased to 2362, of which 817 are active cases. Till Tuesday, 1614 cases have been reported in Ghaziabad, in which 667 have been cured and 55 people have died. There are currently 896 active cases in Ghaziabad.

On the other hand, 3731 Corona cases have been reported till Wednesday in Faridabad and of these, 2401 people have been cured, while 77 people have died. The number of active cases is 1253 and 5347 cases have been reported in Gurugram, in which 3961 have been cured and 91 people have died, whereas the number of active cases here is 1289.
