India: Highest Single Day Spike! 17,296 New Coronavirus Cases Recorded in 24 Hours with 407 Deaths

Coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in the country and the record of new coronavirus cases is breaking daily. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, 17296 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am on Thursday till 8 am on Friday, which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day. According to the Health Ministry, after the 17296 new cases that came in 24 hours, the total number of coronavirus cases across the country has increased to 4,90,401.

15,301 PEOPLE DIED SO FAR

The number of deaths due to coronavirus in the country is also increasing continuously and within the last 24 hours, 407 people have died due to this virus in the whole country. Till now, this deadly virus has lead to the death of 15,301 people across the country. The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus has been reported in Maharashtra and Delhi across the country, in Maharashtra the virus has so far killed 6931 people whereas in Delhi this virus has killed 2429 people.

13,940 CURED IN LAST 24 HOURS

Although many people have also been cured in the total 473105 coronavirus cases in the country till now, according to the Health Ministry data, 13940 people have been cured by the coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours and the total number of people who have been cured after defeating this virus has now increased to 285636. The recovery rate of coronavirus has now reached above 58 percent in the country.

52.47 LAKH PEOPLE CURED ALL OVER THE WORLD

Globally, the total cases have crossed 97.11 lakh figure and more than 4.91 lakh people have also died. However, more than 52.47 lakh coronavirus patients have been cured all over the world. The highest number of cases of coronavirus in the world are in the US, where more than 2.5 million cases have been reported and more than 1.26 lakh people have died so far, followed by more than 12.33 lakh cases in Brazil and more than 55 thousand people have lost their lives, whereas, 6.13 lakh cases have also been reported in Russia.
