Muzaffarnagar: Woman Dies of Coronavirus, 6 Doctors Found Infected in Government Hospital

A 42-year-old woman found infected with the coronavirus in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh died in a hospital in Meerut, as information was given by the official. Sub Divisional Magistrate Indrakant Dwivedi told Thursday that the woman living in Khatauli town was ill for a long time and was found infected with Covid-19.

THE WOMAN DIED ON WEDNESDAY EVENING 

He said that the woman died on Wednesday evening at Subharti Medical Hospital in Meerut. Meanwhile, a hostel of resident doctors has been sealed at Muzaffarnagar Medical College in Begrajpur in the district, the action has been taken after six resident doctors were found to be infected with the coronavirus.

They are admitted to the marked hospital for the treatment of Covid-19. The official further stated that more than 70 of the remaining resident doctors have been isolated in the rooms of their hostels in the medical college.
