UP: Now only the Second Dose Vaccines will be Available on Saturday

The no. of people taking second dose in the month of August is more in the state. A strategy has been prepared to control crowd at the booth.

Now only the second dose will be applied in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. In this, preference will be given to those who book slots from 9 am to 11 am. After this, those who have not booked will also be vaccinated. The number of people taking the second dose in the month of August is more in the state. In such a situation, a new strategy has been prepared for crowd control at the booth. On Monday to Friday, along with the first dose, the second dose will also be administered, but on Saturday the first dose will not be vaccinated. On this day only those with the second dose will be vaccinated.

Decided to apply the second dose on Saturday

It was decided a month ago that the Covid vaccination will be closed on Saturday. On this day only women and children will be vaccinated regularly, but now changing it, it has been decided to apply the second dose on Saturday. Similarly, vaccination of women and children will continue on Wednesday and Saturday.

So far, more than five crores 50 lakh doses of the Covid vaccine have been given in the state, in which more than four crores 64 lakh people have taken the first dose. 514551 people were vaccinated on Tuesday.
20 new patients found, 43 infection-free.

20 new corona patients

On Tuesday, 20 new corona patients have been found in the state, while 43 have been cured. Similarly, a patient has died in Prayagraj. There are now 545 active cases left in the state. The number of corona patients in the state is continuously decreasing. In the last 24 hours, in 2006178 samples were tested in the state, in which 20 were found infected. So far, a total of six crores 78 lakh 97 thousand eight hundred 56 samples have been tested.

The recovery rate of corona in the state was 98.6 percent and the positivity rate was 0.01 percent. Among the new patients, four patients have been found in Prayagraj, four in Maharajganj, one in Lucknow, two in Varanasi, two in Gautam Budh Nagar. One patient has been found in other districts. Not a single patient has been found in 63 districts.
