In a recent development from Bihar, Samastipur district, a daughter had alleged of rape by her father. The girl also shot a video to support her claim which went viral on social media.

Speaking to the issue Rosera subdivision DSP Sahiyar Akhtar said,” the accused has been arrested by the Police who had been assaulting her daughter in the viral video. Legal action is being taken, and the other accused persons in the matter have also been ascertained on the basis of the statement received.

Recently, in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, Police arrested a father for raping two minor girls. The matter came into light when the spouse of the accused reached the Police lodging a case against her husband.

As per the woman’s statements, the man used to assault one of her daughters in his drunken state for 7 years. The man however also started assaulting the other too after a few years back. The lady finally got fed up with the assault and reached the Police lodging a complaint against him.

ASP Shivkumar Verma speaking to the issue said that the police had registered the case into the POCSO Act and had also arrested the accused.
