Now time had Come for the Armies to Fight Against Coronavirus, Said General Bipin Rawat

Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat has said that the forces of the country will be forward to help our country in every way to deal with the Coronavirus.

 Coronavirus is spreading fastly in the country. The Army's coordinated efforts to control Covid-19 have proliferated. Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat has said that the forces of the country will be forward to help our country in every way to deal with the Coronavirus.

At present, the country needed all kinds of assistance, from providing special care to building quarantine camps. Speaking to news agency, Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat said that the time has come now when the armed forces will have to move forward to fight against the Corona virus and the country's soldiers must be prepared for such a challenge.

General Rawat stressed to the overall coordinated efforts by all government agencies against covid-19 will only succeed if the people follow the instructions which are being given to the public from time to time. Already, instructions are issued to all rankers and families to strictly follow those instructions.

CDS General Rawat said that the forces are expected to support the government and provide all kinds of assistance ranging from developing infrastructure for quarantine and isolation. CDS, who is also the secretary of the Department of Military Affairs, attended meetings with the counter secretary and other top government officials. Also coordinating with the three defence forces to evacuate people from abroad.
