The horizontal reservation will apply to all classes of students who have studied in government schools, which fall in municipalities and corporations, Adi Dravidian and tribal welfare, Kallar refinance schools and forest department schools.

The Justice P. Kaliarasan Commission gave the approval of their studies from the Cabinet after the introduction of NEET, due to the degradation in the admission number of these students for admission in the medical colleges of the state.
