PM Internship Scheme 2024: The registration process for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024 has started today from 5 PM. The aim of this scheme is to provide young individuals with internship opportunities in top companies.
Candidates interested in pursuing an internship under this scheme can visit the official website to apply.
Candidates applying for this scheme should be between 21 to 24 years of age. Additionally, the candidate should not be in full-time employment or enrolled in full-time education.
However, candidates pursuing education through online or distance learning programs are eligible to apply.
High school and higher secondary graduates are eligible to apply for the PM Internship Scheme 2024. In addition, candidates with ITI certificates, polytechnic diplomas, or graduates in fields such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, and BPharma are also eligible.
However, postgraduates and graduates from IITs, NITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, as well as candidates holding MBA, CS, CA, MBBS, and BDS degrees are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
The internship under this scheme will last for 12 months. The central government has set a target to provide 1.25 lakh internship opportunities in the top 500 companies for the financial year 2024-25.
Over five years, one crore candidates will be given the chance to participate in this scheme. During the internship, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month, providing them with financial support.
