Days after Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party and Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party announced their alliance in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, a BSP leader has made controversial remarks against the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and shocked everyone.

In a video, shared by news agency ANI, BSP leader Vijay Yadav can be seen making controversial remarks against BJP in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad on Tuesday. Yadav can be heard telling the people that they don't need to fear but BJP workers need to be afraid now.

"Inn BJP waalon ko toh dauda dauda kar maarenge. Ghabrane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aaj inhe nani yaad aa gai hogi, mari hui nani, ki SP-BSP ek ho gaye," Yadav said, making objectionable remarks.

On Saturday, Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav had announced their alliance at a joint press meet in Luckow. They have announced that they would be contesting 38 seats each out of the total 80 in the state. Leaving 2 seats for smaller allies and alliance would not field any candidates in Gandhi's bastions, Rae Bareli and Amethi, currently held by Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, respectively.
