Preparations for Hemant Soren’s Swearing-in Ceremony at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi

On Thursday, Jharkhand Advocate General Ajit Kumar met Hemant Soren, the chief ministerial candidate of the Grand Alliance.

Preparations have begun for the swearing-in ceremony of Mahagathbandhan leader Hemant Soren as the Chief Minister, who secured a majority in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. The tents have reached for the grand stage to be built at the Morhabadi Maidan. Workers engaged in stage construction have started work initially. The swearing in of the new government will take place on 29 December. Many prominent leaders have been invited from across the country. It is not yet clear which leaders have given their consent to attend the ceremony. No information has been officially given yet about the preparations for the event.

Earlier, the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand DK Tiwari met the designated Chief Minister of the Grand Alliance Hemant Soren on the previous day and handed him an invitation letter for swearing in of the new government. During this, the Chief Secretary shared essential information related to the government with Hemant Soren. Preparations for the ongoing swearing-in ceremony at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi were also briefed.
