5 Years of ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, Bhumi Pednekar said, ‘Thank You for Changing my Life’

Bhumi Pednekar became emotional after completing 5 years of her debut film 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'. She wrote a post on Instagram and expressed her feelings about the film. Bhumi wrote, Prem and Sandhya, thank you for changing my life. Thank you for giving me a film that I will remember all the time and her character will always be a part of me.

Bhumi was in the role of Sandhya: In the film. 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' was the story of a married couple in which Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of a boy named Prem Prakash Tiwari, in which family members forces him to get married to Sandhya. Sandhya's weight was too much due to which the husband is unable to accept her and there are many ups and downs in their married life. The writer and director of the film was Sharad Kataria. The film was a hit at the box office. Both Bhumi and Ayushmann had also received tremendous accolades for acting.

In 2020, for Bhumi, 2020 has proved to be a mixed year. She was seen in two films released on 21 February, 'Bhoot: The Haunted Ship' with Vicky Kaushal which flopped. At the same time, she did a cameo in Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer 'Shubh Mangal Zyadaa Saavdhan', which has proved to be a hit at the box office.
