Actor Ali Fazal has come forward in support of theatre actors in Mumbai, who do not currently have any work, amid a government-imposed lockdown in the wake of Covid-19. Ali has come forward with a video to make people aware of what kind of problems theatre artists are facing in this difficult time due to the pandemic.

Nishant Raja has composed the music for this video and Amitosh Nagpal has written it and at the same time Amitosh has prepared it.

Talking about this, Ali said, "It is necessary to talk about the status of theatre actors at a time when the lockdown has been going on for almost eight weeks. Amitosh Nagpal has been in the lead role in the entire program."

He went on to say, "Most actors learn the nuances of acting in the theatre, but still keep it isolated. It is important for us to stand up for them. Some of the well-known personalities have come forward for the help of technicians and crew members. Artists are also trying out new things like virtual performance. So we need to start somewhere to help the theatre community."
