Bigg Boss contestant Umar Riaz spoke during a conversation in an interview before going on the show and told how he became a model from a general surgeon. Along with this, Omar also shared that it has always been his dream to enter the entertainment industry. Umar also told what tips his brother Asim gave him before going on the show.
Umar says, "I was also offered Bigg Boss OTT but I turned it down because I felt that if I wanted to do Bigg Boss it would be for TV and not OTT. As a kid, I always dreamed of seeing myself in front of a camera. I used to get fascinated by Bollywood stars."
Umar further adds, "After Asim came to Bigg Boss and got fame, I realized the potential of Bigg Boss and the fame it brings. His team saw my work and my potential and decided to participate in the show this year. I contacted myself for this. Never did Asim or his team approach the makers of Bigg Boss to take me on the show."
Umar said, "Asim told me not to copy anyone inside the house. He asked me to be as real as possible. He also asked me to take a stand for people."
On making a career in the entertainment industry, Umar says, "Through Bigg Boss, I definitely want to make a career in TV and films. It doesn't mean that I won't practice surgery. I will pursue my interest. And I will balance both the profession."
