Dwayne Johnson Announces Black Adam Movie

The actor, who is intending for the arrival of Jumanji: The Next Level, shared the first picture from Black Adam and shared the details.

He uncovered that as a kid, he fantasized about being Superman. He glanced back at the time he has introduced to the DC character and hoped he would be like the superhero. While the actor couldn't be the blue-suited, red-caped superhero, Dwayne is eager to play a character with "the powers equal to SUPERMAN."

"I'm honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and it's a true pleasure to become BLACK ADAM. BLACK ADAM is blessed by magic with the powers equal to SUPERMAN, but the difference is he doesn't toe the mark or walk the line. He's a rebellious, one of a kind superhero, who'll always do what's right for the people – but he does it his way. Truth and justice – the BLACK ADAM way," he composed, sharing the artwork of his character.

"This role is unlike any other I've ever played in my career and I'm grateful to the bone we'll all go on this journey together," he included.

Dwayne affirmed that Black Adam will release on December 22, 2021. The DC movie releases only five days after James Cameron's Avatar 2.
