Gunjan Saxena Reacted to Her Biopic, Janhvi Kapoor Said – ‘We will make you Feel Proud’

Gunjan Saxena, a former fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force, expressed her happiness by reacting to the teaser of her life film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'. Actress Janhvi Kapoor has assured her that she will not disappoint her. Let us tell you that in this movie Janhvi is playing the role of Gunjan. She has shared her message on social media, which is going viral.

Gunjan Saxena wrote – 'Very rarely have old memories flashed in front of me experienced after watching my montage with voice over of Janhvi. I guess it is the time for the culmination of an enriching journey that started with Sharan Sharma. three years back.'

On this, Jahnavi Kapoor has written- 'It's an honor to know you let alone have the privilege to be able to understand your journey and share it with the world. Hope we make you proud Gunjan Mam'.

THE FILM WILL RELEASE ON OTT PLATFORM

Jahnvi Kapoor-starrer 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' will be released on the OTT platform instead of the traditional theatre release in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis. The news was officially confirmed by producer and streaming platform Netflix on Tuesday. However, the release date has not been announced yet. The makers have shared a short video in the film showcasing Gunjan Saxena's real-life journey.

'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' is inspired by the life of Indian Air Force fighter pilot Gunjan Saxena, and Janhvi has played the lead role in it. Gunjan Saxena entered the battlefield during the 1999 Kargil War. On this, the film's producer Karan Johar said, "'Gunjan Saxena' is based on the true story of a woman who has given courage and inspiration to many people in the coming years. You are in our hearts and millions of people around the world. Excited to share the story of this fearless woman with."

Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar, Manav Vij and Ayesha Raza.
