The first trailer of director Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming web series 'Break Point' has been released. The series is filmed on the sports partnership and journey of Indian tennis stars Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi. It is co-directed by director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who is also Nitesh's wife. This series will be released on October 1 on the OTT platform.

It is shown in the trailer that director Tiwari interviewed both the players Paes and Bhupathi separately. It starts with them, and there are many player interviews in it. In the trailer, Sania Mirza recalls that Paes and Bhupathi were considered the best players in the world in doubles. They complemented each other's game and technique and no one could stop them.

Excited about Break Point

Talking about his show, Tiwari said, "We have always been excited to explore and showcase the people behind the icon and that is what we have tried to showcase in 'Break Point'. Leander and Mahesh are both massive sports champions but, in this series, they are two friends who open their hearts and show their emotions to the world. We are honored to have the opportunity to tell their untold story, which is a great partnership for the youth of our country who think about dos and don'ts. We are excited to partner with the OTT platform ZEE5 for this."

Leander Paes said about the series

It's nice to see myself on screen, laying down my life to show the world. But I think a lot has been said and guessed and there's no better way to put it down. So, I am glad that we are getting a chance to tell our story for the first time and hope the audience will continue to appreciate our on-court partnership and respect our reasons for the break-up.

Lee-Hesh makes history

All partnerships go through ups and downs and so have we. While the world knows about our on-court partnerships, this is the first time that they will come to know about our off-court life and relationship. However, this should not take away our victories and achievements because despite our differences, Lee-Hesh has made history and we are proud of him.
