Never Thought of Chief Minister’s Post: Rajnikanth

Actor Rajnikanth says according to him, the position of Chief Minister should be given to educated and compassionate youth.

Addressing a press conference in the capital of Tamil Nadu, actor and politician Rajnikanth said, 'I never thought of the post of Chief Minister. I only want a change in politics.' He added, 'There were two legends in our politics, one Jayalalithaa and one Kalaignar. Now we need to start a new movement to bring change.' He further said that if there is no change in politics and government now, then the situation cannot improve.

Actor Rajnikanth says according to him, the position of Chief Minister should be given to educated and compassionate youth. Rajnikanth said that he has been watching Tamil Nadu politics for a long time. Referring to the DMK and AIADMK, he said that people now want change. Rajnikanth said that he would like to see new leadership in Tamil Nadu by giving a chance to the youth and the educated in his party.

Rajnikanth greeted the fans gathered at his residence on Thursday morning. Then there came the news that today he will address a press conference. With this, it was expected that he would also announce his party. Whatever happened, his address as a whole was reflecting his future politics. Talking about the strategy ahead, he said that he is going to form a party in which the government and the party will work separately.
