Oscar 2020: Joaquin Phoenix won the Title of Best Actor for the film “Joker”

Actor Joaquin Phoenix has received the Best Actor Oscar for the first time at the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony.

Actor Joaquin Phoenix has received the Best Actor Oscar for the first time at the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony. He received this award for his strong performance in the film 'Joker'. In this category, he received stiff competition from artists such as Adam Driver, Leonadre DiCaprio, Antonia Banderas, and Jonathan Price.

After receiving his  first Oscar, Phoenix became emotional and recalled a song from her late brother River saying, "Race to save with love and peace will follow you."

The actor also talked about injustice and while honoring the natural world, let love and passion become his guiding principles.

At the same time, South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho has been given the Best Director Award at the Oscars of the year 2020. Bong Joon-ho has become the second director to have been awarded the Best Director Award for a non-English speaking film. In the year 2018, Alfonso Cuaron received this award.

The film also won the international feature film category and defeated other nominees from countries such as France and Spain. It was earlier called the best foreign language feature film.
