Actress Bhumi Pednekar has wrapped up the shooting of the Mumbai schedule of her upcoming film 'Raksha Bandhan'. After 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', Bhumi will once again be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in 'Raksha Bandhan'. Interestingly, Bhumi is with the producer of her hit film 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan', Aanand L. Rai, who is also the director of 'Raksha bandhan'.

I consider Aanand L Rai sir as my mentor: Bhumi

Bhumi Pednekar says, "Raksha Bandhan has given me the opportunity to reunite with the most special people in my life. I consider Aanand L Rai sir as my mentor. He believed in my ability as an actor when I had just started my career. And I will always be indebted to him for the opportunity he gave me in 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan'. So, I am glad that I have got a chance to work with him again."

Akshay sir instilled confidence in me

Bhumi Pednekar further said, "Akshay Kumar sir gave me an opportunity to work with him. He put his trust in me in the film 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and our pair won the hearts of the audience. He instilled confidence in me, which gave me the impetus to achieve higher ranks in this industry. So, when I got to know that I am going to get a chance to work with him again in 'Raksha Bandhan', I feel very happy. There is no place."

Bhumi had informed on social media that the first schedule of 'Raksha Bandhan' has been completed. The film is set in Delhi. Akshay Kumar tied bridges in praise of the set made for this in Mumbai's Film City. He definitely took the name of production designer Sumit Basu. This is the first time in recent years that a star has praised a production designer by naming him in his social media post.
