The April 16 episode of Ramayan has been the most watched worldwide. Doordarshan National has tweeted and informed about the highest TRP of the serial on 16 April.

The Ramayan has been telecast again on Doordarshan National. They tweeted- World Record. Ramayan's repeat telecast on Doordarshan has broken worldwide records. It became the world's most watched entertainment show after 7.7 million people worldwide watched it on 16 April.

Let us tell you, the Ramayan was first broadcast from 25 January 1987 to 31 July 1988. The show was on air every Sunday at 9:30 am.

According to a recent survey, Ramayan has been the most searched in the last one month. Many actors including Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhaliya and Sunil Lahri have been seen playing important roles in the show.
