Fans have been hanging tight eagerly for Sooryavanshi trailer since the time Akshay Kumar made a surprise appearance at the end of Rohit Shetty's Simmba (2018) and reported his entrance into the producer's cop universe. Sooryavanshi trailer has everything that fans expected – Akshay Kumar on the chase for terrorists planning an obnoxious strike on Mumbai, daredevil stunt and him co-picking Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Ajay Devgn's Singham. Katrina plays his wife who can't generally agree with Akshay's strategies. With such a great amount to the state, the trailer required a length of four minutes.

Sooryavanshi is the fourth part in the Rohit Shetty cop universe, following Ajay Devgn's Singham and Singham Returns, and Ranveer Singh's Simmba. Prior, the producer disclosed to IANS that he was "bit scared" to blend the universes of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi.

Sooryavanshi is sponsored by Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films. The film will hit the theatres on March 24 (Tuesday) rather than its prior booked date of March 27.

The choice to release Sooryavanshi prior came after the Maharashtra government cleared a proposition to permit theaters to stay open round-the-clock.
