Netflix has released the first teaser for third season of its much-awaited comedy-drama series Sex Education. The teaser featured the main cast including Asa Butterfield's Otis and Emma Mackey's Maeve as they star in an advertisement video for the newly-reopened Moordale Secondary. The new season will be set to release on September 17.
Netflix also shared four new photos from the third season on its social media accounts. In the pictures, the whole gang is seen in school uniform. Till last season, all of them used to go to school in casual outfits. The teaser shows first look of the series' newest characters, Jemima Kirke as Headmistress Hope and Dua Saleh as Cal. It also teases the many changes that Moordale's new Headmistress will be strictly implementing including standard uniforms for its students.
Other star casts of the series include Asa Butterfield as Otis, Gillian Anderson as Dr. Jean Milburn, Emma Mackey as Maeve, Ncuti Gatwa as Eric, Connor Swindells as Adam, Aimee-Lou Wood as Aimee, Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson, Patricia Allison as Ola, Mikael Persbrandt as Jakob, Tanya Reynolds as Lily, and Chinenye Ezeudu as Viv. It also features Mimi Keene, Simone Ashley, Chaneil Kular, Tanya Reynolds, Sami Outalball, Anne-Marie Duff, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Alistair Petrie, Samantha Spiro, Rakhee Thakrar, and Jim Howick.
Sex Education follows the lives of some English high school children and their relationship with sex and love. Meanwhile, Asa had said, it was great to hear the impact of the show there (in Poland). There is no real sex education system in their schools. It's not something that is taught, it's just something that is brushed under the carpet, and that's when you learn it.
